Every week, I head to my local stores and buy things with coupons.
Now, most of the cashiers and managers know me and are either
A. Annoyed, because they have to do extra work (Oh, I am soo sorry that you have to scan my already organized coupons.)
B. Friendly and makes jokes about how I never pay full price for anything.
I try to be as nice as possible and if I have a big transaction (which I normally do) I let other customers go in front of me so that they don't have to wait on me. But now I'm getting more embarrassed. I know that I'm not doing anything wrong, but I can't help feeling a little strange being 19 and handing over paper money. I have drove longer distances to different stores to avoid the same workers or come when I know the nice workers are working and the managers are gone. Am I alone? Are you embarassed to use coupons?
